What’s Happening?

The Roval was a crucial cut-off race with a vital disqualification. What did Eric Estepp think about it in this week’s Groovy Gauge Presented by Lectric eBikes?

Groovy Gauge Score: 70%

• Eric thought this was a good race. For the first time in a while, most fans felt that way about the Roval. This opinion is great for the Roval, as many were calling for its removal from the schedule after last season.
• The main problem with Roval in the past few seasons has seemed to be the NASCAR Next Gen Car. The racing for the Next Gen at most road courses is lackluster due to passing difficulties. Eric agrees that the addition of the turn seven hairpin helped create not just special moments but real passing opportunities.
