Sonoma Groovy Gauge Presented By Lectric eBikes

What’s Happening?

The Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma was a tale of two halves. The first was a caution-filled wreck fest, while the second was a clean and green strategy race. Eric Estepp gives his verdict on how this race was in the most recent edition of the “Groovy Gauge” Presented by Lectric eBikes.

Groovy Gauge Score: 70%

• Eric believed the first half of the race, while wild and unpredictable, wasn’t that great. The numerous caution flags ruined the overall flow of the race.
• In the second half, the race, while clean, began to develop a nice flow. Eric mainly had fun with the varying strategies, which caused some unpredictability in how the race played out.
• Eric found Larson’s charge to the front incredibly entertaining. He loves seeing drivers’ talent showcased through races like this.
