Homestead may be the best track in NASCAR, and it’s 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Playoff race may have been the best in NASCAR history. What did Eric Estepp think about it in this week’s Groovy Gauge Presented by Lectric eBikes?

• Homestead saw playoff drivers and nonplayoff drivers going head-to-head in the top ten all day long. The race itself had solid action on track, strategy in the pits, and an exciting finish.
• Stage three tells the story of this race, with short-run speed playing into the exciting conclusion. In the end, the best teams and drivers went blow for blow at a shot at the Championship Four.
• This is the third 100% Groovy Gauge score this season, with Atlanta and Kansas being the other two finishes. These scores raise the question of whether or not an Intermediate track deserves the Championship race.
• Eric puts it simply: this race had it all.
