This is an iRacing special event created by Out of the Groove and A.E. Engine to raise money for Extra Life, a program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and Toys for Tots.
We are just a few days away from Groovy Hollow 4, and the festivities are ramping up! As the Oct. 29 event approaches, there is another Groovy Hollow yearly tradition to take part in, and this one is a fan favorite.
It is year number four of Groovy Hollow, and throughout the years, paint schemes are one of the best parts of Groovy Hollow leading up to the race.
Every year since Groovy Hollow 2, there is the annual Grooviest Paint Scheme Contest. This contest gives you the ability to make your voice heard in Groovy Hollow 4. This year, much like Groovy Hollow 1, drivers will race the NASCAR Xfinity Series car. This means that the Camaro, Mustang, and Supra will allow for some great-looking paint schemes.
This year the field for Groovy Hollow will, as always, include many well-known professional real-world and sim racers. However, one notable amateur entrant in Groovy Hollow 4 is Eric Estepp.

This year, Eric steps out of the host position of Groovy Hollow and behind the wheel—his No.4 Halloween Machine will surely be a fan favorite.

Groovy Hollow is a yearly Halloween-themed iRacing event hosted by Eric Estepp of the Out of The Groove YouTube Channel. Since its 2023 debut, Groovy Hollow has garnered a reputation as one of the best yearly iRacing events. This is due in part to its high-quality field of talent and top-level broadcast production.
For Groovy Hollow 2024, the GH team went all out. This includes a full-length book, The Legend of Groovy Hollow, written by the Daily Downforce’s Cody Williams. Furthermore, with Eric Estepp’s iRacing debut, the team also introduced a fleet of OOTG merchandise suitable for any driver.
Groovy Hollow is a good time and for a good cause. The race also acts as a donation drive for Extra Life, a program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and Toys for Tots. The green flag for Groovy Hollow 4 will drop on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 8 p.m. EST on the Out of The Groove YouTube Channel.
