What’s Happening?
Last Night was the fifth annual Groovy Hollow Charity iRacing event. While the competition was hot, the race broke a Groovy Hollow record, with 18 caution flags resulting in 18 lucky fans winning a special prize courtesy of the great folks at Circle B Diecast.
The candy has been saved! AND we raised over $5,000 for @VictoryJunction!

Thank you to everyone who donated! Thank you to the drivers, fans, RaceSpot, Circle B Diecast, AE Engine, and Toxic Waste Candy for making this year's Groovy Hollow one to remember 🎃 pic.twitter.com/IPr8Xn41cl
- This year, Groovy Hollow, with the help of the folks at Circle B Diecast, held another Caution Flag Giveaway, which saw eligible fans walk away with a NASCAR diecast prize after every caution flag. This year, Circle B Diecast provided winners with a Lionel Racing Advent Calendar, one of the more unique items made by Lionel Racing.
- Last year, eight cautions resulted in eight lucky fans. Still, the small confines of the 0.363-mile-long Hickory Motor Speedway combined with the high horsepower of the NASCAR Xfinity Series cars resulted in a record-breaking 18 cautions, and, thanks to Circle B Diecast, 18 lucky winners.
- Despite the cautions, Finnegan Myers was able to hold the field at bay, leading 48 laps en route to his first Groovy Hollow victory. Aside from the on-track action, the event also raised over $5,000 for its charitable partner, Victory Junction, making for a great night for everyone involved.
- If you missed Groovy Hollow 5, make sure to check out the replay on the Out of the Groove YouTube channel. Thanks to great partners like Circle B Diecast, Groovy Hollow 5 was yet another great year of racing for a great cause!
