Gateway produced a surprise winner thanks to not one, but, TWO of the top cars falling back in the closing laps. How does this race rate on the Groovy Gauge Presented by Lectric eBikes? Eric Estepp gives his final verdict.

Groovy Gauge Score: 80%

• While it was hard to pass and there was a dominant car, strategy made this race enjoyable. There were exciting battles and a wild finish with a surprise winner.
• Eric admits that he’s not sure how fans will react to the winner. He also admits that the entire race was less entertaining than the finish.
• However, he does mention how important the finish is when rating a race. An excellent finish often leads to a memorable race.
