What’s Happening?
Another year and another successful Groovy Hollow charity race is in the books, but if you missed the action, here are the two drivers who took home top honors Tuesday Night.
The Grooviest Paint Scheme Contest
This year, the annual Grooviest Paint Scheme contest was packed with great-looking cars and great sponsors.
Among some fan favorites were the No. 44 Toxic Waste Hazardously Sour Candy car, driven by Brennan Poole, and the National Metering Services No. 30, driven by Finnegan Myers. But one car stood out amongst the field.

Congratulations to the No. 01 team of Tyler Skoczen and his sponsor, UNOH, University of Northwestern Ohio, on their win in the Grooviest Paint Scheme contest.
Groovy Hollow 5
Groovy Hollow has some chaos in its history, but when the green flag dropped Tuesday night, no one could have predicted what would ensue during the race’s 150 laps.
Throughout the evening, drivers battled hard for position on the 0.363-mile track, resulting in a record 18 caution flags throughout the event. For the majority of the night, pole sitter Keegan Sobilo paced the field, leading a massive 102 laps, though he would not bring home the win.

Instead, it was the National Metering Services No. 30 and driver Finnegan Myers, who started the race in 12th, that brought home the crown, marking Myers’ first Groovy Hollow win.
Congratulations to Myers and National Metering Services, who hosted a company-wide watch party with custom shirts in support of their driver. A special thank you to John Castle and the entire team at National Metering Services for their continued support of Groovy Hollow.

But the real winners Tuesday night were all the people who helped raise money in support of Victory Junction, with efforts bringing in more than $5,000 to the organization.
