MATT NIEHAUS

That guy you’ve seen on TikTok talking about cars going right and sometimes left.

The downfall of SHR was faster than most of their cars for the last two years, but that somehow doesn’t make it any less surprising. It was expected that SHR was going to sell a few charters, but now they’re selling all of them, and an Xfinity Series team is shutting down. Brake Hard is here to try to help you figure out who will be getting their charters at the end of the 2024 season.

  • Over the last few years, you can see that the goals of both of the owners of SHR were in directions leading away from NASCAR, one person in Formula One and the other in drag racing. There was no leadership left for SHR to thrive. Why do you think SHR closed its doors?
  • With a four-car team completely shutting down, many people will be looking for places to race next year. Where do you think the SHR drivers will end up?
  • Fortunately, due to the charter system, SHR has a few million dollars in assets they could offload. Who do you think will get these charters at the end of the year?

Why do you think SHR shut down? Do you think any other teams are at risk? Let Brake Hard know all of your thoughts and questions in the comment section.
