What’s Happening?

The publisher of the officially licensed magazine NASCAR Pole Position is introducing an exciting new annual print magazine in 2025, 50 States of Short Tracks. With help from title sponsor MyRacePass.com, this magazine will tell the stories of and promote grassroots racing at some of the most celebrated short tracks in the U.S.

The high-quality, 128-page, full-color, glossy magazine will focus on the stories of the bullrings, dirt tracks, and quarter-mile ovals that have created hometown legends and even a few NASCAR Cup Series champions.

The goal of 50 States of Short Tracks is to provide both visual and in-depth information that shows fans what makes these venues special and why they should support short-track racing. Each track will be featured as an editorial spotlight, telling the story of track legends and promoting upcoming events alongside track owner and driver profiles.

Through interviews, feature stories, and track spotlights, fans will get to know those who make short track racing, the family and community event it has always been.

These short tracks are located throughout the United States, making for an exciting opportunity for partners to reach new audiences nationwide and at all levels of U.S. motorsports. Each editorial track spotlight will provide advertisers with a chance to have a full or half-page advertisement in 50 States of Short Tracks.

Track owners, this opportunity allows you to promote your track to the broader racing community.

We will use a unique distribution model for this magazine, making 50 States of Short Tracks and its partners accessible to fans at these local tracks and nationwide. Much like NASCAR Pole Position, copies will also be available for purchase online through the Daily Downforce.

Daily Downforce will provide participating short tracks with free copies to sell at their events, with the tracks retaining 100% of the magazine’s sales revenue. Furthermore, tracks participating in 50 States of Short Tracks will gain additional coverage in a 2025 edition of NASCAR Pole Position.

Alongside their title sponsorship, MyRacePass.com will also feature digital advertisements promoting 50 States of Short Tracks. MyRacePass is well known and used by a large portion of the racing community to keep up with the latest news and results from tracks across the country.

50 States of Short Tracks will be available in the heart of the short-track racing season this spring, with track distribution scheduled for April. However, for those not able to get the magazine at the track, preorders are now open at the Daily Downforce Shop.

A special bundle is also available to those purchasing their copies through the Daily Downforce. For just $35, the bundle includes a copy of 50 States of Short Tracks alongside a subscription to NASCAR Pole Position magazine.

So, make sure to preorder your copy of 50 States of Short Tracks and help support these historic venues across the country. Also, be on the lookout for updates about 50 States of Short Tracks as the short track season picks up in April!
