This is an iRacing special event created by Out of the Groove and A.E. Engine to raise money for Extra Life, a program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and Toys for Tots.
The Daytona 500, the Coca-Cola 600, the Indianapolis 500, and Groovy Hollow. Three of these legendary events have already crowned their 2024 Champions. Now it’s Groovy Hollow’s turn. The legendary iRacing event returns on Tuesday, Oct. 29th, and this year, the event is better than ever.
Groovy Hollow is a yearly Halloween-themed iRacing event hosted by Eric Estepp of Out of the Groove. It debuted in 2021 and continues to be an annual tradition for both iRacing and NASCAR fans.
The race also raises money for charitable organizations. This year, it will once again raise money for Extra Life, a program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and Toys for Tots.
Groovy Hollow is streamed live with top-notch production value, interviews, and commentary. Historically, the race has featured many up-and-coming amateur iRacers, pro iRacers, and real-life racers.
Typically, the race has one mystery driver, which is a favorite feature for Groovy Hollow fans. However, in 2024, Groovy Hollow is changing not only this but also the known story of the event as a whole.
The green flag for Groovy Hollow 4 will drop at 8 pm EST on Tuesday, Oct. 29. While the race is Halloween-themed, that doesn’t mean it will affect your Halloween plans!
Groovy Hollow is streamed live on Eric Estepp’s Out of The Groove YouTube Channel. The broadcast of the race is on par with the top tier of any sim racing broadcast.
This year’s mystery driver is NASCAR YouTuber Eric Estepp. Eric is stepping away from the host role of the event and getting behind the wheel after weeks of grueling training.
Furthermore, the lore of the race will be told for the first time, making Groovy Hollow a multimedia event. This year, a free eBook written by Daily Downforce writer Cody Williams is accompanying the race. Not only is it an eBook, but it is also a free Audiobook narrated by Jillian Kuhl.
Furthermore, for the 2024 edition of Groovy Hollow, the team is picking up the merchandise game.
For this year, the folks at Out of The Groove and the Daily Downforce listened to their fans’ wants and needs. Fans will no longer have to wait months after a race to receive their merchandise.
Usually, collectors have to wait through the render, pre-sale, quantity requirements, and shipping. This year, the team got ahead of the curve and stocked up on Groovy Hollow merch with time to spare.
Groovy Hollow 4 merchandise includes a full graphic shirt and a signed Eric Estepp Hero Card. Most importantly, a 1:64 scale diecast of the car, the first 1:64 scale Out of The Groove diecast, and Eric Estepp’s first diecast.
