• SMITH AT DOVER: Chandler Smith has three starts at Dover Motor Speedway – two in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) and one in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series – with a best finish of 13th.
• TALLADEGA RECAP: Smith started last weekend’s race at Talladega Superspeedway in seventh and stayed near the front of the pack during the first stage finishing the stage in fourth place. Smith led three laps in Stage 2 and collected more stage points by finishing in sixth. Smith ran out of fuel on lap 112 and came down pit road to top off. A timely caution kept him from losing a lap, but the extra pit stop relegated him to a 25th-place finish.
• ON THE PITBOX: Crew Chief of the No. 81, JeffMeendering has visited Victory Lane 10 times as a NXS crew chief, most recently with Smith at Richmond in March 2024. His teams have collected 65 top-five finishes, 132 top-10 finishes, and 13 pole positions under his leadership.
• JGR AT DOVER: Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) has a successful history at Dover. In 112 starts, the team has claimed 14 victories with seven different drivers. The team’s most recent victory came just last year as current JGR driver, Ryan Truex, earned his first career win in the No. 19. JGR drivers have collected 11 poles, 42 top-five finishes, and 71 top-10 finishes at the Monster Mile.
