In the fall race Bell started on the pole and ran consistently in the top five throughout stage one, he lost some ground going into stage two after a pit stop at the stage break and over a long green flag run reported that the car was loose off. During the final stage Bell cycled up to the front of the field before coming in for a green flag stop. Bell worked his way up to ninth when the caution came out, setting the field up for a NASCAR overtime finish. Bell restarted 10th and gained two positions in overtime to cross the finish line eighth.

Bell raced was running inside the top 15 in the final stage when he got collected in a multi-car accident with 71 laps remaining in the race. The damage was too severe to continue and ended his day early at Dover.

  • RACE INFO: The Advent Health 400 at Kansas Speedway begins at 3:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 5, 2024. The race will be broadcast live on FS1, Sirius XM 90, and MRN Radio.

From the Cockpit:

Christopher Bell: “Kansas is a really fun racetrack, I won my first ever Xfinity race there in 2017, and it’s probably one of the best tracks on the calendar for the new NextGen car.  The NextGen car really loves the intermediate style racetracks, especially the ones where you can move around, you can run high on the race track or low on the race track, and find different lanes and that creates really good racing at Kansas. Every track we go to I feel like we have the tools we need to run well if we put it all together, so I wouldn’t be surprised one bit if we get win number two this weekend.”
