It’s never too early to think about Christmas gifts, and Lionel is bringing back a big hit from the last Holiday season, the Christmas Advent calendar. This time, it is available on the Daily Downforce shop as well.
Fans can pre-order the 2024 advent calendar on dailydownforce.com/shop for $59.99. It features 12 1:64 scale cars. While the final 2024 artwork has yet to be released for the calendar, we do know a few features including the following:
The calendar itself will ship later this year for those who pre-order, just in time for the holidays. The exact date is to be determined and will be updated here as soon as its revealed.
Eric Estepp played host to the release of the Advent Calendar in the fall of 2023. Karleen Marginean, Lionel’s social media coordinator, came up with the original idea.
Her fiance was watching a YouTube video, where they asked the question, why was there not a NASCAR advent calendar? Marginean was impressed by the idea, and she quickly got to work.
She felt the idea was perfect since diecasts fit well into an advent calendar and Christmastime is big for Lionel as a company. She and her team put together a group of 12 diecasts including all 3 series, all 3 manufacturers, 7 exclusives, and some “Winner’s Circle” cars.
The calendar quickly sold out. Now, Lionel is bringing it back, bigger and better than ever, including 11 original diecasts never before produced.
