Ambetter Health 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

No. 81 Smith General Contracting Toyota GR Supra News and Notes:

  • SMITH AT LOUDON: Chandler Smith had an impressive debut at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) last year. Smith won the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) pole award, led 10 laps during the race and ran in the top-five throughout the event. He finished the race second to Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) driver John Hunter Nemechek.
  • IOWA RECAP: Smith had a roller coaster day at Iowa Speedway last weekend as the NXS made their return to the track. Smith showed that he knew his way around the track after grabbing the lead early. He won both stages of the race leading a total of 131 laps, but lost track position after a pit stop. The No. 81 struggled in traffic and didn’t make all the track position back up, finishing the race in eighth.
  • ON THE PITBOX: Crew Chief of the No. 81, JeffMeendering, has visited Victory Lane 10 times as a NXS crew chief, most recently with Smith at Richmond in March 2024. His teams have collected 65 top-five finishes, 135 top-10 finishes, and 13 pole positions under his leadership.
  • JGR AT LOUDON: Joe Gibbs Racing has 12 Xfinity Series wins at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. In 58 combined starts at the Magic Mile, the organization has tallied 33 top-five finishes, 41 top-10s, four pole awards, and 1,900 laps led. Tony Stewart, Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, Christopher Bell, and John Hunter Nemechek have all driven JGR cars to victory lane.
