What’s Happening
Throwback schemes are always a highlight when heading to Darlington Raceway in the spring. However, one problem with the throwback cars is that the logos are usually not exactly the same due to sponsorship changes over the years. UPS is here to rectify that issue, at least for a few cars.
- Three NASCAR teams will use Dale Jarrett Throwback schemes at the upcoming Darlington race on May 14. Carson Hocevar in the Truck Series, Ross Chastain in the Cup Series, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr in the Cup Series. Hocevar and Chastain will adorn UPS sponsorship for the race as well.
- The Dale Jarrett UPS scheme was one of the most iconic NASCAR looks of the 2000s. It was the scheme he won his last Cup Series race in 2005 at Talladega, and it was also the colors he flew in his final Cup Series race in at Bristol in 2008.
- Fans are excited at the announcement. It should be especially cool to 2000s NASCAR fans who got to see this scheme on track.

Niece Motorsports teased that this would not be their last throwback.

So are we NasLeaf. So are we.

Potential Diecast for Hocevar?

Why not?

Rob Braun is a fan of Trackhouse paint schemes.

Jason G LegitBoss approves.

JTG Daugherty is not phased by the other UPS schemes.

JTG Daugherty again unphased. Good luck Tab Boyd.

The grilled cheese puts JTG over the top for Peewee Payton.

On Your Screen
It is ironic isn’t it Eric.
Of course UPS would come back to sponsor the FedEx driver's nemesis.

Genius. https://t.co/TbjBUoVJ0D
Danny B on the same wavelength.
Very appropriate that Ross gets a direct rival to Denny’s sponsor on his car. https://t.co/NA4y12YmlZ

The UPS schemes have created the most buzz heading into throwback weekend so far. Will there be other schemes that create more buzz into throwback weekend?
