Fresh off of a stint in the NASCAR Euro Series, Ryan Vargas is getting close to turning his focus to 2024, and where he will be racing. While he has no official deal signed with any race team, Vargas could go plenty of places in 2024.

It’s all on the table. Whether it’s Trucks, Xfinity, doing other stuff throughout the U.S. and International. I’m talking about it all.

Ryan Vargas

While Vargas did not mention specifics on what teams he is talking to for 2024, he did offer one tease saying his plans could be “Out of the box”. What does that mean exactly? It seems fans will have to wait and see, but, Vargas truly has done it all this season.

He has driven seven races for On Point Motorsports, with his best finish being eighth at Texas Motor Speedway. In Europe, he raced in the final four races of the NASCAR Euro Series season in Belgium and Germany. His best finish there was 10th in both races in Germany. Vargas gives credit to his sponsors for what they have done to allow him to race in as diverse equipment as he has.

I’m very fortunate to have some great partners in Critical Path Security, Williamsburg Contracting, and Léargas Securities, and the many many others that have supported me this year, ButlerBuilt Seats, KSDT, there’s so many that allowed me to do the races I did do this year. And that was the big thing for me this year was hopping in equipment that was competitive and learning with some really really talented individuals.

Vargas did not put a specific timeline on when he will sign his deal in 2024. He did not get his deal with On Point Motorsports for 2023 put together until January of 2023. He is hoping to have his 2024 plans put together earlier in the offseason. The potential places he can go are all over the place, and Vargas wants to try and drive everything.

There’s a lot [of opportunities] that are being discussed. A lot of really really cool things. Things that I haven’t done, things I have done, and things that are just totally out of left field that I never thought I would do. It’s just kind of my screw it, have fun, and drive everything kind of mentality.

Vargas

As far as sponsorships go, Vargas mentioned that he is working on finalizing everything with his sponsors for 2024, and who he can partner with. The thing that makes these sponsorships so special for Vargas is the personal relationships he is able to build.

To me, having that personal relationship with these guys is just as if not more important to me because I don’t want to sit here and just be the guy that wears their company logo. I want t be friends with these guys. I want to break bread with them, and hang out, and have some beverages, and watch races, and tell stories, and hang out.

Vargas

While his plans remain under wraps, Vargas is hard at work putting something together for 2024. He has plenty of people behind him, and he may have something interesting up his sleeve for 2024. We will just have to wait and see.
