- Ruggiero is coming off an impressive rookie campaign for the team after taking over the team’s No. 17 position, formerly driven by Taylor Gray. Tanner Gray, the elder brother of Taylor, is coming off his sixth season in the series, a season in which he tied his career-best finish of second.
- For the majority of the season, Ruggiero, 19 years old, led the field of rookie contenders, racing consistently at the front of the field.
- Though he missed out on the playoffs, Ruggiero picked up the pace at the end of the season, winning the series penultimate race of the season at Talladega Superspeedway and ultimately Rookie of the Year honors.
- This announcement sets TRICON’s 2025 lineup to three full-time drivers, including Ruggiero, Gray, and new driver Kaden Honeycutt, who takes over Corey Heim’s championship-winning No. 11. The team has yet to announce plans for its No. 1, usually an ‘all-star’ truck, and the No. 5, driven by Toni Breidinger in 2025.
