NASCAR Gateway Race Review & Analysis

The NASCAR scriptwriters were hard at work for the race this Sunday at Gateway, multi-groove racing, two major twists at the end, and an underdog winner. This race is definitely winning an Academy Award, and Eric from Out Of The Groove is here to give you his review and analysis of this race.

• With the heavy amount of shifting and breaking at this wonderful and underrated Gateway track, car malfunctions are expected, but when the fastest car of the race has an engine problem just before he passes the leader, it’s safe to say that it was shocking. Do you think Christopher would’ve won this race if it wasn’t for his problems? 
• The only thing more heartbreaking than having engine problems with 10 laps ago while chasing the leader is unexpectedly running out of fuel on the last lap and your teammate passes you for the win. We’ve all seen our fair share of heartbreaking Ryan Blaney moments, but does this one top the list?
• I don’t think many people expected much from this Gateway race, but just like last year and the year before we were surprised. Eric has the Lectric Groovy Gage to rate the race, what score do you think this race got?
