Carl Edwards Clarifies Why He Left NASCAR

We have a packed episode of Out Of The Groove today because for the first time in years, Carl Edwards has done a press conference in the excitement that makes me want to do a backflip. Also, Eric will get everyone caught up with Kyle Larson‘s waiver drama.

• This is Carl Edwards’s first press conference since 2017, and since the NASCAR 75 drivers came out, he has shown his face a lot more around NASCAR. Do you think we’ll see more of him in the future?
• It’s hard to find a bigger heartbreak in the sport than what happened to Carl Edwards in the 2016 championship. During this press conference, the question has come up whether that race is the reason Edwards left NASCAR. Why do you think you left NASCAR?
• We’ve seen Karla Edwards hop in to the booth in Darlington last year when he was being celebrated as one of NASCAR‘s top 75 drivers and it’s safe to say that he did pretty well. Do you think we’ll see Carl Edwards get into the broadcast booth in the future?
