This is a storyline that no one expected before the Indy 500, but four days after Hendrick Motorsports applied, we are still waiting for Kyle Larson to get a waiver. Brake Hard is here to give us the drivers’ opinions on the waiver situation.

• The waiver approval process in the past has usually taken one or two days, but this one has taken over a week in an unprecedented fashion. Why do you think NASCAR is stretching this out so long?

• Kyle Larson is one of the most popular drivers in NASCAR and one of the best drivers in the world. If he doesn’t get a waiver and he’s not allowed to compete for the championship, does that make the 2024 champion less legit?
