With Formula 1 and INDYCAR off this weekend, you may think that it would be a less eventful weekend than usual, but with an Iowa repave that was surprisingly good, Silly Season drama, and a 24-hour race over in France, there’s a lot to talk about, and there’s nowhere better to get wrapped up on everything that happened this weekend than on the Brake Hard show. 

• One of the biggest storylines going into Sunday’s race was the number of tire failures that happened in practice. Fortunately, the teams could figure out these issues and limit them during the race. Do you think this race would’ve been a disaster if NASCAR hadn’t had a long practice session?

He’s a young star with a road racing background and most importantly a lot of funding but for some reason his name is not mentioned in the NASCAR Silly Season conversation.
