The Complete 2025 NASCAR Cup Series TV Schedule
What’s Happening? Ahead of a change-filled 2025 season, NASCAR officially released its 2025 TV Schedule and where to watch on Wednesday….
Adam Alexander
- For the majority of his career, Adam Alexander has worked in NASCAR for TNT, FOX, and MRN. For the past few seasons, he has been the play-by-play voice of the NASCAR Xfinity Series on Fox and host of the recently canceled NASCAR Race Hub.
- However, in 2025, the CW will be the exclusive home of the Xfinity Series. With IndyCar heading to Fox, some expected Alexander to take over those duties; however, it appears this will be his home in the future.
- The press release from Warner Brothers Discovery states that Alexander “most recently was the play-by-play announcer for FOX’s NASCAR Xfinity Series coverage and co-hosted NASCAR Race Hub on FS1.” The past-tense reference to his time at Fox implies perhaps this is the end of Alexander’s time with Fox.
Steve Letarte
- Steve Letarte is a former Crew Chief of Dale Earnhardt Jr. during his time at Hendrick Motorsports. The two won a Daytona 500 together in 2014 and teamed up in 2018 in the NBC Sports booth for NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series events. This season, with the Xfinity Series transition to the CW, Letarte stuck around to do analyst work for the new Channel.
- Letarte notably hosted the show NASCAR Inside the Playoffs on TruTv, another WBD channel. This show led to rumors that he could depart NBC for Prime and TNT in 2025. However, in WBD’s press release, they clarify that Letarte “will continue working with NBC Sports on their NASCAR coverage.” However, whether Letarte will continue with the NASCAR Xfinity Series on the CW is unknown.
Dale Earnhardt Jr.
- Dale Jr. was the talk of NASCAR broadcasting free agency this season. His abrupt departure from NBC led to speculation about his future and whether his broadcasting career would survive.
- Earnhardt confirmed his future in the booth and away from NBC on May 7, when he announced his move to TNT and Amazon in 2025. However, this was the last news as to who would be on the new platforms for next season up until today.
