What’s Happening?

Daniel Hemric, the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series champion, is set to enter two more races in the NASCAR secondary series this season with Kaulig Racing.

  • Per Kaulig Hemric will once again pilot the team’s No. 11 car at the Charlotte Roval on October 4 and Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 11. These will be the 34-year-old’s second and third races of the 2025 Xfinity Series season.
  • Veteran Josh Williams began the season full-time in the No. 11 prior to his release following the July 26 race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Since then, the team has relied on drivers like Hemric to drive the No. 11, with the veteran making his return to the Xfinity Series on September 6 at WWT Raceway, starting 17th and finishing 7th.
  • Hemric drove for Kaulig full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series last season, but after losing that ride, Hemric took the step down to full-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series action with McAnally–Hilgemann Racing. So far this season, Hemric has one win in MHR’s No. 19, but has run within the top five in points all season long.
  • Though he has floated across the three NASCAR National Series throughout his career, Hemric is most commonly known for his time in the Xfinity Series, where he has raced with multiple teams since 2017. Despite his 2021 championship season with Joe Gibbs Racing, that year’s season finale is Hemric’s only career win in the series.
