What’s Happening?
NASCAR Cup Series veteran and team owner Denny Hamlin had a small grass fire at his home today after a lawn mower caught fire. Via posts from Hamlin, the fire appears to have been put out quickly with little to no damage to his home. Hamlin uploaded several videos of the incident to his Instagram story.

Hamlin initially gave little to no reasoning as to what caused the fire, only posting a video captioned “Lawnmower caught fire” once it was out.

All seems to be okay for Hamlin since this fire, as he has not posted anything further about the incident.
In his second post on his Instagram Story, Hamlin calmly stated, “My luck has run out.” This is perhaps a reference to Hamlin’s viral casino win this past weekend in Las Vegas. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver went viral after he hit multiple jackpots on slot machines prior to the start of Cup Series activity at the track.
This will be a busy week for Hamlin. In addition to his usual duties as driver, team owner, and content creator, he is set to unveil a new sponsor for his No. 11 ride. Ironically, most expect this sponsor to be Progressive, an insurance provider.
