It’s clear that Martinsville was an embarrassing day for NASCAR, as no motorsport in the world would want their race to be manipulated. Eric Estepp is here to try to decide if NASCAR did enough to stop this from happening
- NASCAR handed out multiple hundred thousand dollar fines and 50 driver and owner point deductions to multiple teams. Do you think this was enough to stop race manipulation from happening again?
- Multiple crew chiefs and spots were also suspended because of the incident at Martinsville. How much impact do you think those crew members have on race manipulation?
- After all of this, the people who weren’t penalized were ultimately the people who had the most gain, the playoff drivers and manufacturers. Should NASCAR add a rule so that they can also penalize manufacturers for race manipulation?
