MATT NIEHAUS

That guy you’ve seen on TikTok talking about cars going right and sometimes left.

In most sports, they use their All-Star game for a fun experience, but in NASCAR we use our All-Star race as a testing ground to make regular season racing better. This year NASCAR is testing out different tire options: a hard tire and a soft tire. Brake Hard is here to give you all the little details about it.

  • A few years ago, NASCAR adopted the high downforce, low horsepower package from an All-Star race. Could we see this new Tire option available at more tracks?
  • The tire they’re using as the soft tire is just the rain tire without the rain tread on it. How do you think this super soft tire is going to race?
  • For the traditional tires, they will have yellow lettering on them. For these new soft tires, they will have a green lettering to them. Should they Change the color scheme to red or any different color to match other motorsports?

Do you think this will make racing at North Wilkesboro better? Will this improve short track racing in whole? How long until we see this implemented during the regular season? Be sure to ask Brake Hard, all of your thoughts and questions and his comment section.
