What’s Happening?
Following a major increase in viewership for the season debut at Daytona, the Xfinity Series saw yet another viewership increase this past weekend in Atlanta. Saturday’s race saw 1.36 million viewers tune into the race on the CW, a 14% increase from last season’s race.

- The Xfinity Series debuted at Daytona with 1.8 million viewers, a shocking boost of 0.933 million from the 2024 event. While the Atlanta race had several fewer viewers, this is far and away the highest-viewed spring Xfinity race in track history.
- The Xfinity Series began racing twice a year at AMS in 2021. Since then, the previous high was last year’s 1.190 million viewers. This is also good news for the CW, who is pulling out all the stops for their first full season of exclusive Xfinity Series coverage.
- Fans have mostly been satisfied with the CW’s production. The channel is utilizing a new booth and graphics for 2025 after completing 2024 coverage using NBC’s Xfinity Series booth and modified graphics.
- That late 2024 coverage on the CW saw an estimated overall decrease in series viewership. However, the CW has been on a hot streak since the 2024 Xfinity Series season finale, in which they drew 0.162 Million viewers more than the USA in 2023.
