Hailie Deegan is joining AM Racing in 2024 driving the 15 car in the Xfinity Series, but the second AM Racing car remains a mystery. Which drivers could be a good teammate for Hailie Deegan?

Brett Moffitt has yet to officially announce his plans for 2024, but he currently drives for AM Racing in the Xfinity Series. As a result, he is a candidate for this ride. As far as being a teammate for Deegan, there are some things that Moffitt could potentially help out with.
First off, he is a Craftsman Truck Series Champion with experience in all three NASCAR national touring series. Partnering a veteran with a rookie can provide the best of both worlds for a race team. However, would Moffitt be willing to take on someone like Deegan? Once Deegan joins the team, she could become the number one driver because of the sponsorship and fans he brings win, and would Moffitt be willing to take a backseat?
Kaz Grala has enjoyed a decent season with Sam Hunt Racing, and Brett Moffitt is two spots ahead of Grala in the standings. Given that they could be similar caliber of drivers given the equipment they are in, Grala could be someone AM Racing could go after. Grala then becomes an interesting candidate to be a teammate for Hailie Deegan.
Grala offers experience to Deegan, and Grala knows what it is like to work with a young teammate as he has worked with Connor Mosack this season. Grala may not want to leave Sam Hunt Racing, however, and that could be the thing that keeps this from happening.
Ty Dillon is looking for a new team come 2024. If a more prominent ride does not open up, then he could be a perfect candidate to be a teammate for Hailie Deegan. Dillon is the definition of a journeyman driver, and he has been around multiple different teams in multiple different series.
He can provide some solid mentorship for Deegan just because of his experience. It would be good for Deegan to learn from someone like Dillon how to deal with the struggles of being a race car driver. However, Dillon may have plenty of more prominent opportunities available to him.
Matt DiBenedetto is looking for a ride for 2024, and he is quite the risk-taker. He has bet on himself multiple times throughout his career, and he tends to take the road less traveled. That may mesh well with Haillie Deegan’s personality.
If they mesh well, this could be an interesting teammate pairing. Not to mention DiBenedetto and Deegan have raced together in the Truck Series before. If the personalities can mesh together, then this could work.
Grant Enfinger is probably a long shot, but AM Racing offers him the opportunity to move up to Xfinity. If Enfinger is okay with that move, and the Truck Series does not offer him anything, this could work. He has shown the talent he has in the Truck Series with GMS Racing, so, he could be a big signing for AM Racing.
As far as Deegan goes, Enfinger again offers experience to Deegan. The issue is first off, whether or not Enfinger even wants to move up to Xfinity, and secondly, whether Enfinger is okay with being a potential number 2 driver. Then again, Enfinger seems like a team player, and he could be a solid mentor for Deegan as she tries to work her way up.
Who could be the best teammate to Hailie Deegan at AM Racing in 2024? It will be interesting to see who takes that spot aside Deegan in 2024.
