This long-rumored move will see the 22-year-old standout take over the No. 11 formerly driven by Corey Heim, whose 2026 plans are yet to be announced.
Honeycutt is coming off an odd, yet successful, first full-time season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
Honeycutt began the season with long-time part-time team Niece Motorsports, piecing together a solid season, scoring eight top tens and sitting in 6th place entering the Truck Series race at Watkins Glen.
But, prior to teams heading out for the race at the Glen, Niece announced that they were parting ways with Honeycutt, claiming he had signed a deal to drive with a new team and OEM for 2026.
Rumors suggested that Honeycutt was set to race with Toyota, likely with TRICON in 2026.
Nonetheless, it seemed his playoff-caliber effort was all for not, though he would find a ride for Watkins Glen, racing with Young’s Motorsports to maintain his playoff eligibility.
In an odd twist of fate, a season-ending severe injury to the Toyota owner/driver, Stewart Friesen, resulted in Friesen forfeiting his No. 52 to Honeycutt after the Glen.
Following this transition to the No. 52, Honeycutt piloted the truck to five top-tens, two top fives, and a fourth-place finish in owner and driver points.
