Top 12 NASCAR Throwbacks of 2024

Jaret’s takes on the motorsports world don’t get much hotter, check out his daily uploads!

This week is Darlington throwback week, one of the most fun weeks in NASCAR and every year fans push teams to make better and better throwbacks whether it be fully committing and changing the number font or just finding the coolest schemes of the past it seems like every year gets better and better. This year The Iceberg is here to give you his top 12 NASCAR throwbacks of 2024.

  • I think the best part about Throwback Weekend is that all three series participate. This usually leads to multiple generations being represented as the Cup Series guys usually like to throw it back to older paint schemes and the younger drivers in the Xfinity and Truck Series sometimes like to throw it back to the early 2010s. What series do you think will have the best paint scheme this year?
  • Ryan Preece is doing a throwback to his modified car that he won the championship in 2013. Do you like it when drivers have throwback cars dedicated to less known cars, but it’s a very meaningful story for them, or should drivers only do throwbacks to well-known cars?
  • Since the car numbers have moved up most weeks, it’s not noticeable but on throwback weekend it just seems like the number stands out because the schemes were designed for a different number placement. Should NASCAR  Let the teams move the number back for Throwback Weekend?

What’s your least favorite throwback this year? What’s your favorite throwback this year? Is there a throwback that you’re hoping you see on track next year? Let The Iceberg know all of your thoughts and questions in the comment section.
