The Top Candidate To Replace Martin Truex Jr. at JGR

Future NASCAR Hall of Famer Martin Truex Jr. is expected to retire tomorrow and if that’s not surprising enough, the person in line to replace him should knock your socks off. Eric Estepp from Out Of The Groove is here to break down everything happening. 

• Martin Truex Jr. announced his retirement early enough so that he could still be celebrated for half the season, but do you think he should’ve announced his retirement earlier to get more celebrations, especially at his home track?
• In NASCAR, we’ve seen legendary drivers come back and race to a point where their performance is almost embarrassing, but Martin Truex Junior retires at nearly the top of his game, up in the standings, and still competing for wins. Do you think it’s too early for Martin Truex Jr. to be retiring? 
• Briscoe, Jones, and Gregson are the candidates to take over the 19 for Joe Gibbs Racing oddly enough, Joe Gibbs Racing has one of the best prospect pools in all of NASCAR and none of their potential candidates are one of their prospects. Which one of these drivers do you think would be in the car next year?
