The GOOD, The BAD, and the UGLY of the 2024 Chicago Street Race

At the end of this week’s Chicago Street course race, there’s a lot to discuss. A lot of good happened in this race, and there was a lot of bad as well, so The Iceberg is here to break down the good, the bad, and the ugly of this week’s race. 

• The Xfinity Series race on Saturday gave us some of the best racing we’ve ever seen at this track and a legendary battle between SVG and Kyle Larson. Do you think the Xfinity Series race was the best part of the weekend?
• The hard deadline for the end of a NASCAR race is something new to NASCAR. This weekend was the first time we’ve seen it used. How did you feel about the hard deadline?
• At the end of stage one we saw an extremely long, 30 minute yellow flag that potentially took away a lot of green flag racing from the fans. Do you think NASCAR needs to be better with their long yellows?
