What’s Happening?

Natalie Decker spoke out on social media about her withdrawal from the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Talladega this weekend. According to Decker, her sponsor was not approved by NASCAR. Her name was mistakenly put on the entry list despite the sponsor being rejected before the entry list came out.

  • Natalie Decker made one Xfinity Series start this season. She led 7 laps and finished 18th at Daytona in the No. 36 car for DGM Racing.
  • Decker was initially supposed to race in that 3rd DGM Racing car at Talladega before the sponsorship fell through. She has yet to make a National Touring Series start since that race at Daytona.
  • Fans were a bit puzzled by this since they did not know who the sponsor was. However, others were not bothered by Decker not getting a start since she has not had much success in her limited NASCAR starts.
