- RSS joins Jeremy Clements Racing in the HFT technical alliance in 2025 with Hendrick engines. It is unclear if RSS is joining the HFT campus in Kannapolis like JCR, or if they will operate out of a separate facility in North Carolina.
- HFT announced its departure from Ford in September, marking the first Ford domino to fall. HFT, which rose from the ashes of Stewart-Haas Racing (essentially the same team at the Xfinity Series level), was the only Ford team to win a race during the 2025 Xfinity Series season.
- With the departure of RSS Racing, Joey Gase Motorsports and AM Racing are the only remaining Ford Teams in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. Neither team has won a race in their short history racing in NASCAR’s second-highest level.
- In announcing this change, the family-owned team announced that both Kyle and Ryan Sieg will return to the No. 28 and No. 39 cars for 2026. Last year, Ryan led the duo with a 15th-place points finish.
