What’s Happening?

On Wednesday, Adam Stern of Sports Business Journal reported that NASCAR has signed an official licensing deal with the shoe brand, Crocs. NASCAR-branded Crocs will be on sale starting Monday where Crocs are sold including the website, retail stores, and wholesale stores. Stern also notes that Crocs also did licensing deals in NASCAR in 2006 with entities like Hendrick Motorsports and Dale Earnhardt Jr. amongst others.

  • Crocs and NASCAR partnering up is not the first licensing deal that NASCAR has made this offseason. NASCAR also made a licensing deal with Starter Jackets this offseason for NASCAR jackets.
  • Stern also reported that some fans can get early access to the new NASCAR Crocs. Fans who have the Crocs app will be eligible to purchase early beginning on Friday.
  • Fans are excited to see NASCAR make this deal. Crocs are very popular, and certain NASCAR fans already do wear Crocs.
