Summary

The Motorsports Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution of client sponsorship programs after the sale. This role requires proven experience as a marketing manager and a strong interest in motorsports. The position focuses on coordinating events, managing deliverables, and working with clients, race teams, tracks, vendors, and internal departments to deliver seamless media, content, and on-site activations that fulfill contract obligations and elevate the fan and sponsor experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead coordination for race weekends, fan zones, retail appearances, hospitality, and special events
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact after the deal is signed with clients, race teams, tracks, vendors, and internal teams
  • Build activation timelines, run of show, staffing plans, shipping and credential schedules, signage and footprint layouts
  • Manage onsite setup and teardown, supervise brand ambassadors, ensure brand compliance and safety requirements
  • Traffic media and content deliverables: print, digital, social, video, approvals, and file delivery
  • Capture results and proof of performance: photos, metrics, recap decks, and recommendations

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, ideally within sports, live events, or sponsorship activation
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in marketing, event coordination, or project management
  • A genuine interest in motorsports and willingness to immerse yourself in the industry
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, strong follow-through, and calm under pressure
  • Comfort working across many stakeholders: creative, editorial, digital, operations, venues, vendors
  • Proficiency with project trackers and presentation tools (Google Workspace, project management software)
  • Ability to travel frequently and work weekends aligned with race events
