What’s Happening?
On Monday, June 30, 2025, defending NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Champion, Ty Majeski, took to X to post these behind the scenes photos. The photos posted are from a recording session he did today for the upcoming iRacing console game, NASCAR 25. With the game currently scheduled for release this fall, this is a positive indication that it’s all coming together as we inch ever closer to seeing the final product.

- iRacing is filming with drivers this week. As to what extent the voices and likeness of real-life drivers will be featured in the game is currently unknown. However, this is a positive sign.
- The specifics of how this footage will be utilized in the final product of the game is also unclear. It could be incorporated in a number of ways, such as introductions into the series in career mode (or other modes) or as loading screens.
- Some fans on his post reacted negatively. Several of them asked for some actual gameplay footage while other criticized the blurry graphics seen in the photo on the left. One fan in particular called it “cartoony” and “disappointing”. That same fan compared it to last year’s World of Outlaws iRacing game.
