What’s Happening?

IRacing has a brand new multiyear licensing agreement with IndyCar. According to the press release, this includes the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which allows NASCAR fans to drive on the race track. The release also stated that the popular iRacing Indianapolis 500 would return to the platform. Nothing was said about a potential IndyCar console video game.

• iRacing recently bought the rights to the NASCAR video game license. The next NASCAR video game will come in 2025, but, no specific release date has been announced.
• IndyCar recently terminated its relationship with Motorsport Games. Motorsport Game was the same company with the NASCAR license before selling them to iRacing.
• Fans are excited to see IndyCar back on the platform. However, some are unhappy at the lack of a console video game.
