Iceberg: Why NASCAR Was Right To SUSPEND Chase Elliott

Chase Elliott has went to a point that most thought he would never go to, right-hooking Denny Hamlin into the outside wall as revenge for how the 11 raced the 9. This is something that has become too common in the last few years in NASCAR and the sanctioning body needs to put their foot down. We saw this happen with Bubba Wallace last year after he did a very similar move on Kyle Larson at Las Vegas. Now they have an opportunity to strengthen the current precedent by suspending Elliott.
