Grading NASCAR Team’s 2024 Season

Yesterday The Iceberg gave out grades on the individual drivers of the NASCAR Cup Series. Today Eric Estepp, from Out Of The Groove, gives us grades for the NASCAR teams of the first quarter of the season. What team do you think gets the highest grade? 

• The Chevy’s have been getting very lopsided results in this early portion of the season Hendrick Motorsports is on top of the world. Meanwhile, the other Chevy teams are still struggling. What grade do you think RCR deserves to have?
• The Fords are struggling since they’ve adopted the new Dark Horse body style, but luckily Eric grades based on expectation, not performance. So do you think any Ford team has exceeded expectations?
• The reaction to Toyota‘s new body style has been almost completely different from the Fords. They have been doing pretty well. It’s hard to find a Toyota driver who’s not exceeding expectations right now. Are you surprised with how good this year’s Toyota turned out to be?
