Out of the Groove is back for all your NASCAR updates including all the pressure that Ford is currently feeling, new potential team owners in NASCAR, and the charter agreement, or as Eric Estepp calls it the charter disagreement.
- With the charter agreement set to expire in just over six months, do you think teams need to back down on their expectations of charters being permanent, or is this something the teams should continue to stand on?
- With more major corporate brands being involved in NASCAR ownership, there is no doubt that there are a lot of positives with this, including financial and marketing. But if we have a bad economic downturn, will they be as loyal as other NASCAR owners?
- With the 2024 season over 25% completed Ford is still looking for their first trip to Victory Lane. Luckily for them, the Cup Series is at Talladega this week and over the next-gen era, the Fords have dominated superspeedways. So they’re safe to say that high hopes are coming out of Ford this week, but if they don’t get this win do major changes need to happen to the Dark Horse before 2025?
So how do you feel about the charter agreements? What do you think the teams need to give up for NASCAR to agree to it? Out of all the Ford drivers, who’s the most likely to get it done this weekend? Let Eric Estepp know all your thoughts and opinions in his comment section.
