What’s Happening?

In today’s age of social media, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a NASCAR team that isn’t regularly active on social media platforms. Instagram, in particular, is where many teams are most active, and the younger generation of NASCAR fans will follow their favorite teams and drivers for updates. Consider this your guide to all the Cup Series teams who are active on Instagram.

23XI Racing (118k followers)

As one of NASCAR’s newest teams, 23XI has a solid presence and following on Instagram. With over 118k followers and posts daily, the team is very active on the Gram. Most of the posts focus on their two drivers, Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick, with race updates and results, paint scheme reveals, and short clips featuring drivers and owners Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan.

Front Row Motorsports (47.1k followers)

The recently promoted Tier One Ford team, Front Row Motorsports, has a modest Instagram following of just over 47k. Here, you’ll find the usual race update posts, post-race driver recaps, practice and qualifying results, and the occasional funny video featuring the drivers.

Hendrick Motorsports (496k followers)

Hendrick Motorsports is the most successful team in NASCAR history, and that carries over from the track to social media. On Instagram, you’ll find HMS with a staggering following of just shy of half a million, at 496k followers. You’ll also find one of the most active and engaging NASCAR accounts on The Gram, with multiple posts per day, including funny driver videos, behind-the-scenes content, race recaps, driver interviews, sweepstakes, phone wallpapers, and more!

Joe Gibbs Racing (433k followers)

JGR has some great behind-the-scenes videos on its Instagram that show just how things really go at the track and on the road. You’ll also find some awesome interactive driver videos, the usual race updates, driver updates, funny memes, and more. This team isn’t afraid to make fun of itself and keep things light, so you’ll enjoy this follow.

JTG Daugherty Racing (53.2k followers)

Being a one-car team, you’ll find all the focus on the #47 team and driver Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. on the JTG Instagram page. If you’re a fan of the 47, this is the page for you, as you’ll find updates on Stenhouse and the team’s finishes, paint scheme reveals, interactions with fans, and more.

Kaulig Racing (65.2k followers)

Kaulig’s Instagram focuses heavily on the team’s successful Xfinity Series team, but also has the Cup team sprinkled in here and there. You’ll find phone wallpapers, links to the team’s other social channels, team website, merch store and much more. If you’re a fan of the Dinger and SVG, you’ll want to follow this page for updates on both drivers.

Legacy Motor Club (157k followers)

For all things John Hunter Nemechek, Erik Jones, and 7x champ Jimmie Johnson, this is a must-follow. You can find driver behind-the-scenes clips, funny videos, race recaps, and more on the Legacy M.C. Instagram page.

RFK Racing (204k followers)

The RFK social team are some of the most active in the business, and always keep things funny and lighthearted. You’ll find that this is one of the funniest teams to follow on social media, and that includes Instagram. This page is loaded with behind the scenes, comedic skits, meet and greet announcements, race updates, driver announcements for the #60 and much more. If you want a chuckle, give RFK a follow!

Richard Childress Racing (170k followers)

RCR has a very well-run page that contains a ton of great content for fans to consume. Betting lines, behind the scenes vlogs, the latest from Austin Dillon and Kyle Busch, as well as the occasional update on the Xfinity team. There are also links to look back on all of RCRs biggest race wins. If you’ve been a fan of this team since the Dale Sr. days, you’ll be right at home.

Rick Ware Racing (102k followers)

The Instagram page of RWR focuses on the #51 of Justin Haley, and features updates on the NASCAR Cup Series team, as well as the many other forms of motorsport that RWR competes in.

Spire Motorsports (30.2k followers)

If you’re a fan of the next generation of NASCAR, Spire socials are a must-follow. With regular updates on the newest stars in NASCAR, including Carson Hocevar, Zane Smith, truck series star Rajah Caruth, as well as the wiley vet Corey LaJoie, you’ll find everything you’re looking for. You’ll even find out how fast the Spire fellas can shuck a cob of corn!

Stewart-Haas Racing (379k followers)

With the unfortunate news of the team going away at the end of 2024 (for the most part), it’s hard to say how much longer this team will be active on Instagram. But for now, you can still find this team posting regular updates. This social team thrives on giving an inside look at the shop and the drivers and bringing humor to your social feed one day at a time.

Team Penske (252k followers)

This page is a mixed bag of NASCAR, IMSA, IndyCar, and WEC. With a large following from all series, this is the best place to keep up-to-date with everything in the world of Team Penske, home of 2x champ Joey Logano, 2023 champ Ryan Blaney, and 2022 Daytona 500 champ Austin Cindric.

Trackhouse Racing (102k followers)

This team has been making waves since joining NASCAR in 2021 and has an extremely active social media presence. You’ll find plenty of watermelon and piñata smashing here, with behind-the-scenes looks at the lives of the Melon Man, Ross Chastain, and the Amigo, Daniel Suarez.

Wood Brothers Racing (60.4k followers)

NASCAR’s longest-running team, the Wood Brothers Instagram, focuses solely on the #21 Ford Mustang Dark Horse and driver Harrison Burton. You’ll find race updates and results from each week, amazing infographics, behind-the-scenes looks at Burton, and more. They may not be the garage’s most active social media team, but they put out great content week to week.
