What’s Happening?
Trackhouse Racing prospect Connor Zilisch has added another NASCAR National Series race to his 2025 schedule, as he will drive Spire Motorsports’ No. 7 truck next weekend at the Charlotte Roval.

- This race will mark Zilisch’s second NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race this season and the fifth time Zilisch has piloted the No. 7 truck in his young career. He previously piloted the No. 45 truck for Niece Motorsports to an eighth-place finish at Watkins Glen in August.
- Despite seven career starts in winning equipment, Zilisch has yet to win a race in NASCAR’s tertiary National Series. In these seven starts, Zilisch has one top five, two top tens, and two poles, including a pole position in his National Series debut at Circuit of the Americas in 2024.
- While it is common for a 19-year-old to be winless in the Truck Series, this is a surprise in the case of Zilisch, who won in his Xfinity Series debut in 2023. Since then, in his first full-time Xfinity Series season, the JR Motorsports driver has gone on to victory lane nine more times.
- Zilisch is the current leader in NASCAR Xfinity Series rookie of the year standings and overall points, most importantly, he has extinguished any doubts about his skill on ovals in 2025. Thanks to his performance, Trackhouse is promoting Zilisch to a full-time Cup Series ride in 2025.
