What’s Happening?

On April 16, Beard Motorsports announced NASCAR Xfinity Series driver and Richard Childress Racing prospect Jesse Love would drive their No. 62 machine on May 4 at Texas Motor Speedway and July 27 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

  • Jesse Love debuted in the NASCAR Cup Series last Sunday at Bristol Motor Speedway, driving the No. 33 for Richard Childress Racing. Love, in his debut, finished 31st after starting 19th.
  • Love joins Anthony Alfredo as the other driver of the No. 62 this year. Alfredo failed to qualify for the Daytona 500 and will attempt to race on April 27 at Talladega.

Love’s 2025 season

Jesse Love sits third in the Xfinity Series standings, behind 2024 champion Justin Allgaier and Sam Mayer. Through the first nine races of the season, Love drove the No. 2 to one win, two top fives, and six top 10s. Love made his Cup Series debut on April 13 at Bristol Motorspeedway, driving the No. 33 for Richard Childress Racing. Love started his debut 19th and finished 31st.
