Easily one of the most emotional races in NASCAR history. The 2001 Pepsi 400 was NASCAR’s first trip back to Daytona International Speedway since the tragic death of Dale Earnhardt at the 2001 Daytona 500. The OP says they watch when they need a smile, and rewatching the final laps of this event is sure to do just that. Dale Earnhardt Jr would collect the win with teammate and winner of the 2001 Daytona 500 Michael Waltrip behind him, and the celebration that ensued was breathtaking.

The Bristol night race is already a fan favorite race. Throw in the incredible action and tempers of the 2002 race, and it is definitely a must watch. Rusty Wallace would lead in the late stages, but Jeff Gordon would battle Wallace, attempting the bump and run multiple times, with the race ending in an instant classic right to the wire.

The 2007 season started off with a bang. The Daytona 500 is always an exciting way to start the season, and in 2007, we saw one of the best finishes to the Great American race ever. It looked like Mark Martin would claim his first ever Daytona 500 win, but Happy Harvick, the closer, came from behind to win in thrilling fashion, with a major wreck behind them and Clint Bowyer going across the line upside down!

The 1994 Brickyard 400 was NASCAR’s first race ever at the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The venue of the Indianapolis 500, one of motorsports finest crown jewel events, would bring the stars of NASCAR to its hallowed grounds. Second year driver Jeff Gordon would go on to lead the most laps and win the inaugural event at the Brickyard.
