What’s Happening?
iRacing has released an in-depth look at NASCAR ’25’s career mode via the third episode of their Dev Diary series on YouTube. The video shows several examples of how the game’s in-depth career mode looks and works.
- The video began by reiterating the game’s grassroots theme, using the example of starting out in ARCA in your grandpa’s shop and working your way to the cup. The developer revealed on Jan 22 that the game will feature all three NASCAR National Series and the ARCA Menards Series.
- They also explain the time management aspects of career mode. This includes off-track decision-making, such as choosing to be in a movie or helping your team with inventory. These decisions can help your reputation or your team.
- Social Media will also factor into your reputation as you will see a response to your on-track performance online. This is similar to features in past games. However, iRacing hinted that “NASCAR social media influencers” will have some role in this minor feature of the game.
- This Dev Diary also included more work-in-progress videos and images, such as footage of New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Fans also got their first look at a Truck Series truck model and a view of the shop from career mode.

- The video also announced the launch of the game’s website, NASCAR25.com, which offers the option to sign up for email alerts about the game’s future. NASCAR ’25 is scheduled for a Fall 2025 release date.
