2024 NASCAR Playoffs Preview

After a long and grueling NASCAR regular season, it’s time for the playoffs, where 16 drivers will compete for a championship. Some of those drivers are shocking additions to the playoffs and huge underdogs, and for some of the drivers, it would be a disappointment if they didn’t come home with the championship. The Iceberg is here to give you his 2024 NASCAR playoff preview. 

• William Byron dominated the early season with a win at Daytona and Martinsville. He was the early favorite to win the championship, but he’s been nonexistent in the later part of the season. Can he put it together for the playoffs?
• If it wasn’t for the latest penalty for Denny Hamlin, he would’ve been in contention for the regular season championship, and with him still looking for his first NASCAR Cup Series championship. Do you think Danny Hamlin could win this year?
• Alex Bowman is a huge underdog in these playoffs. Before he got his win in the Chicago Street course, his job was arguably on the line, but he is still a Hendrick driver with tons of ability. What do you think his chances are in the playoffs?
