Weather History at Richmond/Road America

NASCAR has not had many major weather delays in Richmond in recent years, but weather did make an impact on the spring race, where weather cancelled Cup Series practice and qualifying. However, both races were run to the full distance without delay.

Road America has not seen a full wet race as of yet, and it looks like that will not happen this weekend. However, it has seen rain hamper a NASCAR event before. It came in 2014, when the Xfinity Series paid their visit to Road America.

It seems this weekend may be more about the heat than the rain, especially at Richmond Raceway. Regardless, hopefully NASCAR can find a totally dry weekend this weekend for some action.
