What’s Happening?

iRacing has released the intro video for its upcoming NASCAR console game, NASCAR ’25.

• With early access set to open at midnight tonight, iRacing has finally revealed the opening video for the NASCAR 25 console game. This is one of a handful of ‘trailers’ released by iRacing in the lead-up to the game’s release.
• The video, which will play upon opening the game, sets a serious tone for what NASCAR ’25 has in store. This includes a tense soundtrack and audio from driver radios, as well as NASCAR’s in-house radio broadcast team at MRN.
• Interestingly enough, the intro for NASCAR ’25, beyond a render of an unsponsored, unbranded NASCAR Next Gen car, does not feature any gameplay footage. This is a stark contrast from the intro video for the most recent multi-platform NASCAR game, NASCAR 21: Ignition, which exclusively featured in-game footage.
• NASCAR ’25 will be released on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 on October 14, but for those who purchased the Gold Edition, the game will be available tonight at 12:00 AM ET / 9:00 PM PT. A PC port will also be released on Steam on November 11.
