United Rentals is partnering with Talladega Superspeedway for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs race this October, the track announced today. The NASCAR Xfinity Series United Rentals 250 will take place Saturday, October 5 at 4:00 p.m. ET as drivers will battle it out on NASCAR’s biggest and baddest track.

“Partnering with United Rentals for our NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoff race was an incredibly easy decision and we’re ready to build on and further expand our relationship with them,” said Brian Crichton, President of Talladega Superspeedway. “Our Fall race weekend is a crucial component to the competition in the NASCAR Playoffs and to have United Rentals represent us is a powerhouse move for both sides.”

In 2022, United Rentals was named the Official Equipment Partner of NASCAR. The company has previously held race entitlements across a wide variety of tracks, including Phoenix Raceway, Watkins Glen International, Martinsville Speedway and Daytona International Speedway. Talladega Superspeedway will become the latest track to feature a United Rentals entitlement for the NASCAR Playoffs.

“We are excited to partner with NASCAR and Talladega Superspeedway,” said Craig Schmidt, Vice President, National Accounts, United Rentals. “NASCAR’s focus on team-based performance captures our Work United ® approach with our partners and our customers. We are excited to continue another great season with NASCAR.”

The Playoffs race action at Talladega Superspeedway kicks off Friday, October 4, with the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Love’s RV Stop 225 during the Round of 8 followed by the NASCAR Xfinity Series United Rentals 250 on Saturday, October 5 in the Round of 12.

The excitement continues into Sunday with the return of the YellaWood 500 during the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs Round of 12 at Talladega Superspeedway, as drivers prepare to tackle the iconic 33-degree banking.
